Title Suggestions
Approximately 10 suggested program titles, delivered prior to commencement of post-production at the direction of the Network Production Team (EP/PE)

Titling Ideation
For titling clearance please refer to the Title Clearance & Legal Opinion section. Please email your Program Executive a list of at least 15-20 proposed series names alongside delivery of Rough Cut 1.
Title Dos
Titles should communicate what the show is about and be easy to understand
Titles should have intrigue or a “wink” at a story that draws you in
Title Don’ts
Titles should not feel click-baity or deliver a false promise to the viewer (Ex: titling “The Southern Kitchen” when, although the show is set in the south, the food does not solely reflect southern heritage, potentially misleading the viewer)
A show title should not have a talent name in it unless that is the only way it will clear legally.
(Ex: Restoration Road with Clint Harp)
Titles should not be too similar to an existing title we already have on Magnolia Network (ex. We have have shows called Restoration Road and Home on the Road, so we should go easy on titles that contain “road”)
