May 2019 – Media Deliverables Upload – New File Sniff test for Bad Outputs from Transcoding Products

We have put together a Technical Bulletin for producers to address an increase in failures in the Producer’s Portal Media Upload workflow caused by bad outputs from some common transcoding products.   The File Sniff will now also test for these outputs and if there is a failure the message will read:  “File has unexpected error on audio stream: End of stream”.    Please see the bulletin above.

 

December 2018 – Animal Planet – New Branding & Bug Graphic

The Animal Planet team has created a new global look for the network, unifying the branding on Animal Planet feeds in every region.  The network has chosen to place the bug graphic in the upper left of the screen and to extend IPM messaging into the middle left.  Consequently, Discovery is releasing new PTPA guidelines and template graphics for production partners delivering shows for Animal Planet.  See the Text Protection page within this section.
